Privacy at the outpost.
DinoWildWest.com is operated by Zoke Ltd, registered in England and Wales, Company No. 15984127. We are an independent, unofficial fan destination. For privacy questions, email hq@dinowildwest.com.
What you choose to share.
When you contact us, we use your name, email address and message to respond. Your message is sent to our inbox through our mail provider. The contact form does not add you to a mailing list.
The Outpost Dispatch and The Long Trail waitlist are separate choices. We ask you to confirm your email address. Joining the waitlist does not subscribe you to the Dispatch unless you choose that option. Confirmation and preference links are for your use; please do not share them.
Saved signups and contributions.
We store signup details, consent wording and confirmation status privately in WordPress to manage your selected mailing lists. Take Part forms save your contact details, proposal, credit, material link and stated permissions for editorial review. Final submission references are checked by our team; no contribution is automatically published. These forms do not subscribe you to the Dispatch. Contact hq@dinowildwest.com to request access, correction or deletion.
Visits and optional services.
Essential storage supports your choices and protects forms from misuse. We keep a short-lived, hashed rate-limit record for form requests. Optional analytics stay off until you allow them. Analytics events do not include your name, email, message or private confirmation tokens.
The embedded trailer connects to YouTube when its player loads. An optional form security check may connect to Cloudflare when you use a form. Those providers process information under their own policies.
Adventures, ballots and your journey.
Saved adventure results, voting records and The Long Trail progress will have a clear participation notice when those services open. These services are being prepared. No account, saved answer or vote record is created by browsing these pages. You will be told what is saved and how to manage it before taking part.
How we use and protect information.
We use contact information to answer the request you send us and to protect the website from misuse. Newsletter and waitlist emails rely on your choice to receive them. We work with hosting and mail providers to run the site; we do not sell your contact details.
We keep correspondence only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and related record-keeping. Short-lived form receipts expire after fifteen minutes and contain no name, address or message. Service-specific retention periods and provider details will accompany the participation notice when subscriptions, saved results and journey records open.
Your choices and rights.
You can change optional analytics through Cookie preferences in the footer. You can leave a mailing list through its email preference link. A separately chosen subscription stays separate, and leaving emails does not automatically erase journey progress.
You can ask us about your information, request a correction or deletion, or raise a concern at hq@dinowildwest.com. Rights depend on the circumstances; we may need to check your identity. You can also contact the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Adventure debriefs and your Trail Journal
Public adventure decisions, scores and requested debrief-delivery details are kept privately for 30 days, then removed by scheduled maintenance. Long Trail contact details, chosen companion, first-completion decisions and certificate dates remain in your private journal until you ask us to delete them. Unconfirmed journey registrations are removed after their confirmation period and a seven-day grace period. You can turn chapter reminders off inside your journal without losing progress. Newsletter consent remains separate. Contact hq@dinowildwest.com for access, correction or deletion.
